Daniel Meyer joined Beyond Legal Aid in January 2022 as a supervising immigration lawyer. He brings more than five (5) years of experience in private practice as an immigration lawyer to the organization, primarily in resettlement advocacy and representation before the U.S.C.I.S. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys playing softball and spending time with his loved ones. Previously, Daniel earned a Bachelor of Political Science from West Chester University, where he was also a Member of the Pre-Law Society. Daniel graduated from Pace University School of Law (now Elizabeth Haub Law School) in 2015, where he focused on immigration law and environmental law and received a certificate in environmental law after graduation. Daniel has completed internships at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Pace Land Use Law Center and has developed a community-based approach to legal practice. With Beyond Legal Aid, Daniel looks forward to expanding his practice to incorporate the values of Chicago`s great communities.
